We are looking for an experienced Solidity developer to join our core protocol team at Chainlink Labs. You will design, implement, and audit smart contracts powering decentralised oracle networks used by hundreds of DeFi protocols.
**Responsibilities:**
- Write secure, gas-optimised Solidity smart contracts
- Collaborate with security teams on audits and threat modelling
- Review and improve existing protocol contracts
- Contribute to open-source tooling and documentation
**Requirements:**
- 3+ years of Solidity development experience
- Deep understanding of EVM, opcodes, and gas optimisation
- Experience with Hardhat / Foundry testing frameworks
- Familiarity with DeFi protocols (lending, AMMs, oracles)
- Strong understanding of reentrancy, flash loan, and MEV attack vectors
**Nice to Have:**
- Contributions to Ethereum EIPs or major open-source projects
- Experience with cross-chain messaging (CCIP, LayerZero)
**Compensation:** $120,000 – $180,000 USD annually + token grant
