MetaMask is hiring a Junior Smart Contract Developer to join our wallet integrations team. This is a great entry-level opportunity for a developer who wants to grow their Web3 skills alongside some of the best engineers in the space.
**Responsibilities:**
- Write and test Solidity contracts for MetaMask Swaps and Staking features
- Assist with integration testing against live testnets and mainnets
- Review pull requests and participate in daily standups
- Write technical documentation for internal APIs
**Requirements:**
- 1+ year of Solidity experience (personal projects count)
- Solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript
- Familiarity with Hardhat and OpenZeppelin libraries
- Passion for decentralisation and open-source development
**Nice to Have:**
- ETHGlobal or other hackathon participation
- Active GitHub profile with Web3 projects
**Compensation:** $80,000 – $120,000 + MetaMask equity
**Location:** Remote (Worldwide)
