The Uniswap Foundation is seeking a Protocol Engineer to contribute to the next generation of automated market maker design. You will work directly on the Uniswap v4 hooks architecture and help grow the decentralised exchange ecosystem.
**Responsibilities:**
- Design and implement new AMM mechanisms and hooks
- Write formal specifications and security analyses
- Collaborate with external researchers and auditors
- Participate in governance and grant program technical reviews
**Requirements:**
- Strong background in mathematics/economics or CS
- 2+ years building on Ethereum or EVM-compatible chains
- Proficiency in Solidity and Rust (for zk components)
- Understanding of liquidity provision, impermanent loss, and MEV
**Compensation:** $130,000 – $200,000 + USDC + UNI grant
